Vista Prices are down and we still don’t care.
By Grant on Feb 29, 2008 in News
Microsoft has announced that it plans to cut prices for its truly crappy Windows Vista OS in order to push consumers to upgrade to the latest OS. (Chirp chirp chirp). OH YEA, lets all rush out and buy it. It will go great with that discounted Gateway PC I bought a few years ago thats holding my office door open. Microsoft will be lowering their Windows Vista Ultimate to $319 from $399 for the full version and the upgrade will be $219 down from $259.
Microsoft has sold 100 million vista licenses since its release in January 2007. This means there are 100 million people who didn’t know any better. For those of you who did buy it, keep reading packratstudios.com so this wont happen to you again.

Hey, found you through MyBlogLog—thanks for visiting my profile!
Vista is horrible. Everyone I know who has it hates it. Fortunately, when I bought my new computer this year I made sure I got one with XP. Still, it’s a business computer (better deal, I know a guy) and I’m in school so I needed Word, and my university supplied me with the Vista version. Ouch.
Pfft, I wouldn’t take Vista if it was free.
I love that photo, by the way. It’s hilarious.

Thanks for stopping by the site. If word processing is your only hang-up, try openoffice. The apps work very well and are incredibly similar to MS Office.
