Windows Vista volume activation key cracked.

We all knew the day would come and that day is today. A crack from the pirate group Pantheon has been released that allows Vista installations to be activated and made fully operational. The crack doesn’t use time stamp hacks or exploits for the beta version of Vista. The real news here is the the crack is easy to use.
Apparently it uses part of the same process that large OEMs use that allows them to pre-install Vista on a system without Microsoft verification.
The crack includes certificate files from ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo along with OEM product keys for Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, and Ultimate. It also comes with a BIOS driver that allows certificate information from an OEM to be installed on any machine, regardless of manufacturer.
The crack has been reported to work by Australia’s APC magazine and it passes Windows Genuine Advantage checks. So let the arms race begin but, seeing this crack uses the same process as the OEMs. Its going to be hard for Microsoft to stop. And the entire continent of Asia cheers although they would be better served by switching to almost anything else.

They did this when it was still Longhorn - in beta. If Pantheon is really releasing this now - it’s probably a repack - then they’re REALLY behind the scene. Sorry

Paradox made a patch like that a month after the official Vista release… This is really old…

It is old news. It just got stumbled yesterday for some reason.
The method for this particular crack is suppose to be new as it fakes being an oem process. According too APC magazine anyway. But still this news was released last month.

Who cares? I wouldn’t use Vista if Bill Gates personally delivered a free copy to my door. Seriously.
I’ll stick with a dual-boot of XP/Ubuntu until XP no longer works, then move entirely to Ubuntu.

Gotta love the trolls who immediately insist upon asking who would want to use Vista anyway.
Lots of us, that’s who. If you actually USED the damn thing instead of jumping on the anti-Microsoft bandwagon and being cool by hating Vista, you’d realize it’s actually a darn good OS. I’ve been running it exclusively at home since before its release with no issues, and I now run it on my work computer, as do all of my coworkers, including the owner and partners. Did I mention my company is an IT firm? See, REAL geeks have no problems with Vista and appreciate its new functionality. Fake 1337 geeks still think it’s cool to call Microsoft M$ and joke about how everything they make crashes constantly.

Vista is absolutely excellent, and I will never understand why people hate it so much. I haven’t touched Kubuntu since I got it.

Vista is OK if:
1- no driver need
2- a lot of ram to waste in eyecandy
3- no serious work going on (in case of a casual BSOD)
4-Want to waste time looking for compatible new software(not to mention the money)
5-You like to be a lab rat of Micro$oft (since in my opinion vista stills in beta lol)
