How to clean your Nintendo D S and remove plaque while your at it.

And I thought toothbrushes were for cleaning teeth. 8 out of 10 Dentists agree that sending your D S to the Dentist will confirm that you are a few fries short of a box of crayons. (Mmmmm, a sky of fries.) Those other 2 dentists are using a little to much nitrous oxide (laughing gas) with their morning coffee and they assure me that they don’t have a drug problem. (and I’m dating the tooth fairy) Here is how to clean your Nintendo D S.
Tools you will need: A toothbrush (duh) (a brand new soft to medium brush)
- Hold the Nintendo D S like you are reading a book with the screens on the left and right, instead of up and down.
- Use your thumb to gently press down on the touchscreen where the edge of the screen meets the plastic housing. This will create a small gap.
- Now take the top part of the toothbrush and gently brush away the crumbs in the small gap you have created. Be sure not to let the plastic part of the toothbrush touch the screen as this could result in damaging it.
- Repeat steps 1-3 for the other sides of the screen.
- (you may need to recalibrate the D S now… to do that go here)
If the steps above did not fix your problem, the D S might need to be repaired which can be found here.
