Are You a Tech Junkie?

How many of us hear the phrase, “you are such a tech junkie?” Recently it is a phrase that I have heard quite a bit. Honestly, I take great pride in finally hitting that point in other’s eyes. It made me think “what is a tech junkie?” And are those of us who have this label truly tech junkies or just individuals who like technology and use it in our everyday lives? OK, I will admit I have several techie toys I carry with me everyday, but could I live without my cell phone, Nokia Internet Tablet, ipod and my laptop? And even if I do like these toys, does this make me a tech junkie? OK, I could live without my cell phone and laptop, but I couldn’t survive without my ipod and Nokia. (they’re on the list right below my hairdryer) Besides why would I not use the most current technology to listen to music, call my best friend on the phone or look up directions on Google? Would a soldier go to war without a GPS system? I think not. So call me a tech junkie or really cute geek, but when you want to listen to some music, find directions to the local Papa Johns or call home because the bus is running late, I will be your new best friend, tech junkie and all.
