World of Warcraft’s lost dog isn’t enticed by scooby snacks

wow.jpgI am a World of Warcraft addict. I should state that I have been to WOW anonymous and nobody could help me. I even got a recommendation that I should become addicted to meth or coke. (that didn’t work either… sorry mom) Anyway, I was playing one of my many new toons in Loch Modan around 9pm. I was in a forest area where no music was playing and you could hear the crickets, and birds singing their beautiful love songs to the beat of me pwning another black bear. After skinning it’s hide and dining on some bear steaks, (yes I even recycle pixelated carcasses) I heard the faint sound of barking.

As I turned the volume up, you could hear the happy cries of a dog in the distance. I searched around, hoping to find the lost little guy, but soon realized my futility as the dog was part of the background with the crickets and birds. Whomever works on the sound files in WOW must have stuck a sound recorder on some distant hill and it was still a bit to close to someone’s house. I love it when reality and fantasy mix. If you’re a wow fan like me, go check it out and don’t give me the excuse you don’t have time cause if you really didn’t have the time, you wouldn’t be playing World of Warcraft in the first place. And if you know of any other mistaken sounds in the game, post em in the comments section. I would love to check em out myself. Happy Wowing!!

It’s true – the dog is no so fond of scooby snax, but a) you can find it and b) it will play with you! I went where you were and I had the same experience, but a friend of mine found it! Just about the only difference between our characters is he has done the Kyle quest, so I think you can see it after that. I’ll let you know after I do the quest if I see it too (and screenshots if I can post them here).
