Sony’s new car stereo is USB and Bluetooth friendly.

Sony has launched the MEX-BT3600U in dash radio which offers a USB port on the front for your digital mp3 player and A2DP bluetooth to connect everything else. It also has a built in microphone that Sony describes as a sensitive, high-quality microphone with echo cancellation technology so when making a hands free phone call using the radio, you can help stop the endless Verizon monologue “can you hear me now” (of course that depends on your phone connection also) The bluetooth technology will also let you play your stored digital music from your bluetooth enabled phone. And what radio would be any good without a card-sized infrared remote? This way your kids can drive you even more crazy from the backseat.
Available throughout Europe from May 2008
